I love all the aspects of Level design: Research, planning, and especially set dressing and constructing the environment. 

 

 

 

Level Design Analysis

When I play games, I take time to write down my favorite level. I try to explain why I appreciate my experience, what the level brings to the game, and what is the pacing and the principal caracteristic of the level.

UDK and Unreal Engine 3

Tools

 

 

I used Unreal Engine 3 at the College O'sullivan of Quebec. For 2 years, I taugh students how to implement 3D models and textures in Unreal. I also used Unreal Engine 3 in the Mise en Scene class and Level design class.

 

I used UDK at the Vancouver Film School. I learned how to trigger events and program AI with Kismet.

Unity 3D

I used Unity 3D at the Vancouver Film School. I learned how to program controls, navigation, AI, and UI in C#. I also learned how to implement 3D models, textures, and animations.

Mission Design

Mission design requires a good understanding of the story and mechanics of a game, so that the designer can bring life into the world with player motivation.
